Leah had to say...

I loved books even before I could read them. My parents were avid readers, so there were always hundreds of books around the house. Some of my earliest memories are of pulling books off of shelves and playing with them.

When I was a little older I would pretend to read them, and I even added my own ideas in crayon. I don't  remember ever getting into trouble for this, and maybe that is why I still dream of getting published one day. I am working on a novel that is currently my obsession and is starting to make me crazier.

When I am not drinking Absinthe, writing, playing my bass guitar, working as a CNA, snuggling with my dog, listening to music, doing yoga, dorking around on the interwebz, or being a smart ass, I am reading. I love science fiction, fantasy, and paranormal stories.  I try to read a classic here and there, and I usually have some sort of non-fiction that I pick up, for a few chapters, in between the fiction.

I have about 400 books waiting to be read, but I keep collecting more everyday. The thrill of the hunt I guess. I am a vegan and I am married, so I don't get to do much hunting otherwise. ;) I am friendly and nice when approached, so feel free to contact me.

I am not really a turtle.
